1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons hot fudge sauce

2 tablespoons Amaretto

8 strawberries, sliced

2 tablespoons hot fudge sauce, melted

toasted slivered almonds

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons hot fudge sauce and Amaretto. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Put half of the sauce on one dessert plate and half on another. Put the cake slices in the fudge sauce. Put the strawberries in even layers on top of the cake. Microwave each cake square on high for 30 seconds. Top with the 2 tablespoons hot fudge sauce, slivered almonds and ice cream.

Chocolate Strawberry Ice Cream Dessert

A delightful treat for your valentine with Oreos, chocolate and strawberries. A perfect chilled dessert to help steam up your romance.

50 Oreo's, crushed

4 tablespoons butter, softened

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened

1 cup chocolate syrup

1 package (8 ounces) whipped topping, thawed

1/2 gallon strawberry ice cream, thawed slightly

1 pint strawberries, sliced

chocolate syrup

In a small bowl, mix the crushed Oreo's and butter. Put 1/3 of this mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Add the chocolate syrup gradually to the cream cheese. Fold the whipped topping into the chocolate mixture. Put the chocolate mixture on top of the crumbs and then add another 1/3 of the crumb mixture over this layer. Slice the strawberry ice cream into 1 inch thick slices and put over the chocolate layer. Top this layer with the remaining crumbs. Freeze at least overnight. Allow the dessert to sit out for about 15 minutes before cutting it into bars. Put the sliced strawberries on top of a bar and drizzle with chocolate syrup.

Spicy Thai Food Recipes

On visiting a new country we would always like to experience the local cuisine. Thailand is a country which is famous for its various culinary delights. A major difference noted in Thailand is that they will not use a knife, instead use a spoon. Pieces of meat or fish served here are cut into small portions and that can be eaten with the spoon.

Thai people rarely eat food alone and they share each others' food plates. A plate of rice is served with almost all Thai meals.

On the basis of where you stay in Thailand, they use numerous types of chilies in the dishes they cook. (Thai word for chili is prik.) Thai Chili is the most common type of chili, available almost everywhere in the world. Another type is prik kee nu, a very small, extremely spicy chili, often served as a condiment.

Chili is also used to make the curry hot. Albeit having several varieties of curry, they use only five types, green, red, yellow, massaman, and penang curries. In order to get the correct flavor for different meats they use different curry. Lemon basil has a great flavor and it will make your food much spicier.

Ginger is another herb that makes your food spicy. You can boil ginger to make a tea and add some sparkle of it to grilled and baked fish.

Smile Thailand Chicken Wrap Recipes

Dipping sauce:

1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1/3 cup milk

2 tablespoons crunchy peanut butter

Chicken filling:

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 1/2 cups carrots julienne

1 pound chicken breasts boneless, skinless 1 pieces

1 tablespoon curry powder

1 teaspoon fresh ginger root minced

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup red pepper chopped fine

1/4 cup flaked coconut

1/4 cup green onion julienne

2 1/2 cups cooked white rice

2/3 cup crunchy peanut butter

3 cups cabbage shredded

6 flour tortillas (10 inch)

1. In small bowl, combine all sauce ingredients. Cover; refrigerate until serving time.

2. In 10 inch skillet, heat oil until sizzling; stir in chicken and ginger. Cook over medium-high heat until chicken is no longer pink (7
to 9 minutes). Add cabbage, carrots, red pepper and onion; continue
cooking until vegetables are crisply tender (5 to 7 minutes).

3. Meanwhile, in 1 quart saucepan, combine peanut butter, water, coconut, curry powder and oil. Cook over medium-high heat until mixture is heated through (5 to 7 minutes). Remove from heat. Add rice; mix well.

4. At serving time, place 1 cup filling in center of each warm tortilla. Fold two opposite edges of tortilla toward center of filling. Roll up open end of tortilla toward opposite edge. Place, seam-side down, on microwave-safe plate.

5. Microwave two sandwiches on high, turning or rearranging after half the time, until heated through (1 to 2 minutes). Repeat with remaining sandwiches. Serve wrap immediately with sauce for dipping. Makes 6 sandwiches.

>>Chicken Tortilla Wraps

4 fat free flour tortillas

1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast halves cut in thin strips

1 med tomato chopped

1 med onion sliced

1 sm clove garlic finely chopped

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp ground black pepper

2 c shredded lettuce

2 tbsp worcestershire sauce

3/4 c reduced fat ranch-style dressing

Heat oven to 350°. Wrap tortillas in foil. Heat in oven for 10-15 minutes or until warm. Coat large nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Place skillet over medium high heat. Add chicken, onion and garlic; sauté until chicken is no longer pink in center, 4-6 minutes. Stir in worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.

Divide chicken mixture among tortillas. Top each with lettuce and tomato. Drizzle each with 2-3 tbsp dressing. Roll up the tortillas and serve.

In a bowl, combine the tuna, lemon juice, mayonnaise, celery and pickle relish. Mix together well and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Here's a restaurant quality tuna recipe that is absolutely delicious for tuna salad sandwiches.

1 (7 oz.) can white tuna, drained and flaked
6 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
1/8 teaspoon dried minced onion flakes
1/4 teaspoon curry powder
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 pinch garlic powder

Directions

In a medium bowl, stir together the tuna, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, and onion flakes. Add in the curry powder, parsley, dill weed and garlic powder.

Mix well and serve with crackers or as a sandwich.

You can do a lot more with tuna salad than make sandwiches. This healthy recipe features albacore tuna, fresh green beans, Northern beans, black olives and hard boiled eggs.

3/4 pound green beans, trimmed and snapped in half
1 (12 oz.) can solid white albacore tuna, drained
1 (16 oz.) can Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed
1 (2.25 oz.) can sliced black olives, drained
1/4 medium red onion, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
Salt and pepper to taste
4 large hard cooked eggs, peeled and quartered

Directions

Place green beans, 1/3 cup water and a large pinch of salt into a medium skillet. Cover, turn heat on high and bring water to a boil.

Once the beans start to steam, set the timer and cook until tender and crisp (about 5 minutes. Note: do not let the skillet run dry). Immediately dump the beans into a lipped cookie sheet that is lined with paper towels. Let cool.

In a bowl, combine the tuna, olives and onion.

In another bowl, whisk together the oregano, oil, lemon juice and zest. Pour over the tuna mixture; gently stirring. Add salt and pepper to taste. Arrange a portion of the tuna salad, green beans and hard cooked eggs onto 4 plates.

Juicing Recipes to Help Clean Your Colon

There must be a sale. Either that or there has been a major colonic breakthrough on the news that I've missed by being stuck in the gym for the past week. I've had at least a dozen juicing recipes emails from my readers regarding colon cleansing, asking about or touting its' benefits, or inquiring as to how it can help them to lead a healthier life.

What is a colon cleanse? Well it's really simple. Since the colon is essential to your well being - for the elimination of toxins and your bodies waste products - it is a bodily function that gets a lot of wear and tear (not literally of course). The smaller intestine is situated below the stomach and liver and is the major part of our digestive tract. Now this statistic may just blow you away, but did you know that the total surface of the gastrointestinal system is about six thousand square feet? Yep, I am not joking.

So one would think that a set of organs so massive would need some sort of regular cleaning to work at optimum capacity, and one would, of course, be right. When we are overloaded with toxins, our glandular and immune systems are suppressed, which lowers our normal temperature and our craving for water. Bad bacteria thrive in the intestines and produce ammonia, which lowers the pH. The lower pH in the colon or intestinal tract creates an environment for parasites. I could go on, but is that really necessary? You should be running to my handy and helpful juices and links already since I mentioned the words "parasite" and "intestine" in the same sentence.

In Thailand Juicing Recipes to Help Clean Your Colon

As an FYI, here's some reasons why juicing recipes can help ease any persistent nightmares about aliens growing inside your stomach.

* Carrots can help an inflamed colon.

* the skin of apple contains pectin, which help remove noxious substances from the system. Pectin helps to prevent protein matter in the intestines from spoiling.

* The juice of a lemon is a natural antiseptic, it will help destroy harmful bacteria.

Alternately (or additionally, depending on how ambitious you are) you'll find a great colon cleansing 7 day kit here and a colon cleansing treatment here. Both come highly recommended.
Colon Cleansing "Power Juice" Recipe

* 1 green apple

* 1 medium size carrot

* 5 slices of cucumber

* 1 stalk of celery (optional)

* 1 big glass of cold water

* 1 tbsp of honey or 1 tsp of muscovado sugar

* A juice from one lemon if you want a sour flavor or 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar.

Instructions:

Mix the apple (the greener, the better), stalk of celery, carrot, five slices of cucumber, lemon juice and honey or sugar in your juicer (or a blender) with ice cold water. Puree into a shake.

Drink immediately before it oxidizes.

You may also consider a colonic irrigation, or visit one of the many spas that caters to colon cleansing. All in all, it is extremely important to keep your intestines healthy. Although the subject of your colon may conjure up all sorts of embarrassing problems or potential compromising situations, the methods you can use to maintain a healthy digestive tract are really not that intrusive, and the benefits are great and many. So run off now, make that juicing recipe, and give your colon a break.

Baked Rainbow Trout

2-3 trout

Tour in Smile Thailand Present Rainbow Trout Recipes

2 tablespoons chopped parsley

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1½ teaspoons seasoned salt

6 tablespoons olive oil

1 large onion-thinly sliced

2 cloves garlic

1 large tomato, thinly sliced

4 teaspoons white wine

Spray 13x9 inch pan with liquid shortening. Arrange fish in pan and sprinkle with parsley, lemon juice and salt. Heat oil in small skillet: fry onion and garlic till limp. Pour over fish. Place tomato on fish and pour wine over fish. Bake 350 degrees 30-45 minutes. Serves 2-3.

Grilled Trout

6 small trout

Salt or seasoning for fish

Prepare trout: rub with oil and sprinkle with salt or seasoning. Place in fish basket if available or place on preheated grill rack and cook for about 15 minutes, turning as needed.
