A traditional and ancient form of Muay thai (Muay Boran) as taught by Thai living national treasure Chakraphob Charoenrat. In it you can also see many techniques normally sneered at by Muay thai practitioner when they are trained by other traditional arts like karate, kungfu or TKD, such as the high X-block. It is not called a kata since that is a Japanese word, but that it what it is in all but name. You get to see the single form practice and the 2-person application practice. It is not quite as formalized & ritualized as Japanese Kata, but you have to be blind not to see the relationship between the two training methods.
